Hana Flight Lesson- $799 total

price includes up to 3 people plus instructor

 

You will take the controls and takeoff from Kahului Airport and soar over Kapalua towards Ka'anapali and Lahaina.  Then descend over the 1790 lava flows on the forbidden side of Maui.  Then fly the South approach into world famous Hana airport.  Your instructor will guide you every step of the way on this amazing approach.

 

Upon landing, you will debrief with your instructor over a break, where you will also have time to explore on your own.  Afterwards, you will takeoff and navigate the coastline at 1,500’ and prepare for a downwind arrival and landing at Kahului.

 

Objective: Learn basic flight maneuvers, including 2 takeoff and landings, short field landing and takeoff procedures.  Use VFR Checkpoints for navigation.  Learn proper radio procedures including radio communications with Air Traffic Control.

 

Allow 2-2 1/2 hours.
